On July 26-27, 2018, on the basis of the Polesie State Radiation and Environmental Reserve, an international scientific and practical conference was organized and held on the topic "Problems and prospects for the development of territories affected by the disaster at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, at the present stage."
The purpose of this conference was to exchange and obtain international experience in the sustainable development of radioactively contaminated areas.
The main objectives of the conference: discussion of topical scientific problems in the field of radioecology, radiobiology and environmental protection in the transboundary Central European region, exchange of experience in solving them in various regions and countries, development of scientifically grounded proposals for solving the problems of sustainable development of the exclusion zone Chernobyl nuclear power plant and other radioactively contaminated areas.

- Radioactive contamination of ecosystem components;
- Medical consequences of the disaster at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, dose monitoring of the population;
