Conference 2017

Within the framework of the Year of Science announced in the Republic of Belarus in 2017, the Department for Elimination of the Consequences of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus organized an international scientific and practical conference "Radioecological and radiobiological consequences of the Chernobyl disaster." The conference was held from 05 to 06 October 2017. on the basis of the Polesie State Radiation-Ecological Reserve.

The following issues were discussed during the conference:

    • problems of studying the radioecological and radiobiological consequences of the Chernobyl disaster;
    • new ideas in the subject area;
    • territorial, technical and research capabilities of the Polesie State Radiation-Ecological Reserve in the field of radioecology and radiobiology.
